The second entry in the series, which was previously known as Codename Heron, will be a full-blown sequel to the original built on Remedy’s proprietary Northlight engine, as confirmed on Remedy’s official website, and will launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date, which is likely not getting announced anytime soon, as the game is still in the conceptual stage. Control 2’s initial development budget amounts to EUR 50 million, and Remedy will retain the ownership of the game’s intellectual property....

The Unofficial Content Patch introduces a new, fully explorable area where players can find some additional items. The area isn’t particularly big, but the fact that a modder was able to add a fully-featured location to the game is definitely impressive. Developer Krat0es also promises more mods of this kind in the future, so it will be interesting how the game will be expanded in the coming weeks. The user who originally discovered the exploit, whose details have been recently shared online, confirmed to VGC that the exploit has been completely fixed in the latest game by From Software. The developer also fixed several other exploits that have been documented by the developer of the fan-made Dark Souls Blue Sentinel anti-cheat system. Even though these exploits have been fixed in Elden Ring, there are still some lingering issues in the new game by From Software....

According to the report, the plot will introduce new elements and characters to the Death Stranding universe. It is currently unclear whether the existing characters will be played by the same actors seen in the game (Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Lindsay Wagner, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Margaret Qualley), though it would be strange otherwise, given that they’re all very much familiar with shooting live action films.
