iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Are Getting Two New and Improved Camera Modes - Cinematic and Action!
Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro models are equipped with the new 48MP main camera, which will provide photographers and videographers with enhanced camera functionality. Apple also made improvements to the Cinematic Mode on all iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models. You now have the option available to shoot 4K HDR Cinematic video at 30 fps. Take note that the upgrade is available on the standard models as well as the iPhone 14 Pro models. Cinematic Mode allows you to shoot stunning videos with a focus on the subject in the frame. Apple’s algorithms decide what and who to focus on, but you can also edit the focus points later on. Check out more details in our announcement post. Other than the Cinematic Mode on all iPhone 14 models, Apple is also introducing the new Action Mode. Action Mode can record video in 2.8K resolution at 60 fps. If you are unfamiliar and have not watched Apple’s Far Out event, Action Mode allows you to record ultra-stable videos on the go. You can run or ride on a bumpy road, and the iPhone would still manage to keep the subject in focus with enhanced stability. To be fair, the feature makes your iPhone so stable as if it was mounted on a gimbal. You can check out more details here. We are glad that the new and improved modes are coming to both variants of the iPhone 14 series.
