MediaTek Had a 48.1 Percent Market Share in the U.S. For Q4, 2021 The latest data from IDC’s quarterly mobile phone sales tracker states that MediaTek chips for Q4, 2021 had the highest market share in the U.S., making up 48.1 percent of all Android smartphones in the region. This made the company the biggest in the country, beating Qualcomm, who had a 43.9 percent market share in the same quarter....

Yamauchi took to Twitter to announce the upcoming update via his traditional “silhouette” image featuring several upcoming cars. No additional details about the new cars were provided just yet, but as discovered by GTPlanet, it’s likely that the Toyota GR010 Hypercar and GoPro Rampage 1970 Camaro are among the new cars being added to the latest Gran Turismo entry. The other car in the image is somewhat harder to discern, but based on the shape, a C3-generation Corvette appears to be a good guess....

This is not the first time that we are hearing details of an upgraded processor for the iPhone 14 Pro models only....

Aside from packing connectivity changes, this new patch includes changes to player controls, multiplayer, and some other changes, including a fix for a crashing issue when editing the player locker. According to Nintendo, this patch was prioritized with the next patch primarily focusing on balance adjustments and other issues that were outside the scope of the 1.1.2 update. “Because this update patch focuses on additional fixes to connection-related issues and fixes to some control and battle-related issues, we have prioritized its release”, Nintendo writes....

Today, Hello Games, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, confirmed that the game will release on Nintendo Switch digitally on the eShop and at retail on October 7th worldwide. On the same day, a PlayStation 5 physical remastered edition will also launch worldwide, including all the 20 updates that have been released so far, making it the first time beyond 2019 that the game is available for purchase at retail. TechPowerUp just posted a screenshot (received through an anonymous tip) which shows plenty of source files and even a so-called NVIDIA DLSS Programming Guide document. For the record, today NVIDIA did confirm that proprietary information was stolen in the aforementioned cyberattack. Needless to say, those in possession of the source code could analyze it for all sorts of purposes. It is even conceivable that AMD or Intel could look into the source code, if it was made publically available, to get ideas on how to improve the respective FSR and XeSS technologies (though they would have to do so while staying clear of lifting anything as-is for legal reasons)....
