Apparently, Google is shopping Stadia tech to partners under the new name Google Stream. Word is, there were fairly high-level talks with Bungie, although those may have been scuttled by the recent Sony acquisition. There have also been talks with Capcom about setting up a system where people can play demos directly from the Capcom website. Reaching a bit further afield, Google may also partner with Peleton for game-like experiences on their exercise equipment....

Today, a new book, Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars, was announced with a March 7, 2023 release date. The book is said to bridge the gap between Fallen Order and Survivor. Often, these types of companion books are useful for determining when a game is coming out, but prolific leaker Jeff Grubb added fuel to the fire on Twitter, confirming the game is coming in March. — Grubb (@JeffGrubb) August 19, 2022 Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt for now, but the evidence for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being an early March release seems to be aligning....

The new screenshots, which have been shared on Reddit, showcase some high-quality textures that highlight the great care Bethesda is putting into its upcoming space role-playing game. SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service sent out an email to users earlier today asking them for help in its fight to preserve the 12GHz spectrum for satellite internet use. Starlink lets its users connect to the Internet through user terminals that transfer data to and from satellites orbiting the Earth in low Earth orbit (LEO). These terminals use the 12GHz spectrum to connect with the satellites, and this spectrum is also used by multichannel video and data distribution services (MVDDS) providers and DISH - both of which have had rights to the spectrum for decades....
