In Atari’s half-year earnings report for 2022/23, the company reported a $4.65 million revenue number, which is a 27% decrease compared to 2021/22’s half-year report If that wasn’t already telling enough, hardware sales fell off a sheer cliff, with a 92% year-over-year drop-off, landing at $212,466 (which used to be $2.44 million). In an attempt to counteract these staggering losses, Atari began reorganizing its hardware business. Part of this reorganization involves the suspension of direct hardware manufacturing relationships when it comes to the VCS....

But now, this new game by PlatinumGames made in conjunction with Square Enix has reached a new all-time low as it has finally managed to hit a whopping zero concurrent player count. This new shameful mark was reached on June 16, 2022, at 10:00 as seen on Steam Charts. The game was able to return to ’normalcy’ in player numbers shortly afterward and has managed to retain at least 5 players simultaneously at its lowest points ever since....

BOE Executives Reportedly Visited Apple to Explain the Situation, After Which the Manufacturer Was Given Orders Once Again Apple would most likely have wanted to add BOE to its supply chain list to give less pricing leverage to Samsung and LG, who are also involved in supplying iPhone 13’s OLED panels. According to the FTC, Epic violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act by collecting information from children under 13 who played Fortnite without verifiable consent from a parent. In some cases, the company even made parents “jump through hoops” just to have their children’s data deleted. Because of this, Epic will have to pay a $275 Million settlement for violating the COPPA rule.
