Cuphead’s DLC, The Delicious Last Course, if you may remember, was delayed a few times. By now, it’s set to release by June 30th, 2022 (the same day Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak drops). Thankfully, no such delays are in order today; the development team at Studio MDHR confirmed that yes, Cuphead’s DLC will be launching at the end of the month, with a new trailer. This trailer contains more of the base game’s frenetic platforming and shoot-’em-up nature, albeit in completely new locales....

The Horadrim Cosmetic set is only one of many cosmetic sets available in Diablo Immortal. These cosmetics are acquired per class, even though they are available for each class. They’ll change the outfits and the look of your weapons, and some of them even come with custom animations. Vulkan implementation in Direct3D 12 sees new update for Steam Play users The new enablement now will support VK_EXT_descriptor_buffer code that removes a lot of pressure that would be added to the processor. The implementation follows the recent Radeon Vulkan (RADV) updated Mesa driver and the Steam Deck update. Along with the numerous updates, NVIDIA and Intel drivers in Vulkan are continued to be updated with new code, including performance updates for each company’s graphics cards....

Apple Seeds New watchOS 8.5.1, macOS 12.3.1 Monterey and HomePod 15.4.1 Updates with Many Fixes If you love nothing more than brand new software updates, then today is your lucky day. Apple released iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 a while back with important fixes for both iPhone and iPad. But, apart from that, the company has seeded new watchOS 8.5.1, macOS 12.3.1 Monterey and HomePod 15.4.1 updates. Rather than describe what is new in these updates, we will let the changelog do the talking along with steps on how to download said updates over the air....

The app is available now for download, weighing just about 4.5 MB. It’ll update your controller’s firmware; mine was stuck on version 0282, whereas the latest firmware is version 0297. You could previously update the DualSense controller’s firmware via the PlayStation 5 console. Of course, there’s a lot of PC gamers who might want to get the DualSense for its advanced features (haptics feedback, adaptive triggers, etc.) without actually owning a PS5, so it’ll be handy for them....

This early build has been showcased by well-known hacker Lance McDonald in an over four-hour long livestream that can be watched on Twitch. Many expected Elon Musk to sell Tesla shares in the run-up to his Twitter takeover so as to fill a probable financing deficit. However, that somewhat dreaded liquidation took place in early November. To wit, Elon Musk has now filed three separate Form 4s with the SEC, indicating that he sold Tesla shares on the 04th, the 07th, and the 08th of November (you can peruse these filings here, here, and here)....

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation’s (SpaceX) chief executive officer Mr. Elon Musk has shared more information about his company’s plans to conduct a highly anticipated test flight of its Starship launch vehicle platform. SpaceX is developing Starship in its facilities in Boca Chica, Texas, and the company recently conducted one of the largest static fire tests of the rocket since it started to build them. Musk hopes that SpaceX will launch Starship to orbit by early November at the latest, and by that time, have two prototypes ready for testing as it increases its rate of production for what will be the world’s largest rocket when it launches....

Speaking to PC Gamer, he explained: The closer I got to the Erdtree, the more demanding the game became. The Erdtree and a bunch of particle effects were clearly the root cause of the problem. After removing the tree and a couple of particles, I was able to play at 30 fps on a low-end PC. A whopping 15 frames increased on a GT 1030! This mod practically lowered the graphics card requirements for the game....

A point of contention for the game lies in the performance aspect. Lots of it is centered on one feature that’s missing currently, being DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) support, meant to take full advantage of the capabilities of GeForce RTX GPUs. Given that it’s not here yet, one might ask when that will be here. As of a podcast from Battlestate Games (developers of Tarkov), DLSS will indeed be coming to the game, according to CEO Nikita Buyanov....

Though Apple has gravitated from Lightning to USB-C for a number of devices, including its latest low-cost tablet, the iPad 10, its biggest revenue generator, the iPhone, continues to ship with the Lightning interface, so the EU was likely targeting the firm’s phone business when it came out with this legislation. A press release (via MacRumors) states that the new rules will be applied to mobile phones, tablets, e-readers, digital cameras, video game consoles, headphones, earbuds, portable loudspeakers, wireless mice, keyboards, and portable navigation systems....
