Another day brings with it another interesting observation on the ongoing Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) saga from a Wall Street player. Today, Rosenblatt is out with a research note on Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover prospects. To wit, Rosenblatt analyst Barton Crockett initiated coverage of Twitter shares today with a Neutral rating and a $48 stock price target. In a series of interesting observations, Crockett noted that Musk’s $54.20 per share offer for Twitter is not a “premium” and that his suggestions around content moderation, switching Twitter’s business model to one based on subscriptions instead of advertising, and pursuing non-commercial enterprise is likely to “effectively trashes the bulk of Twitter’s talent and efforts, which the board probably sees as dropping a bomb on something they love....

Scavengers was first announced in March 2018 by former Halo franchise director Josh Holmes. Probably the best trailer we’ve seen for Sonic Frontiers thus far, despite the slight Switch blurriness. It will be interesting to see how many of these Cyberspace levels there are. Created by modder ‘Maxie Zeus’, this ‘over-the-shoulder’ camera mod for the latest Spider-Man PC port was also released for the PC version of Spider-Man Remastered. As you might have guessed, it changes the game’s default camera position to a more Batman Arkham-like camera by moving it closer to Miles. It’s an interesting mod for sure and one that might add some immersion to the game for some players. Nintendo announced the news through an official press release on the Japanese Nintendo website earlier today. According to Nintendo, Splatoon 3, the latest installment in the series, domestic sales have exceeded 3.45 million units in its first days after launch. This number includes both retail and digital sales. Interestingly, this means that initial sales of Splatoon 3 have already exceeded those of Nintendo’s previous fastest-selling Switch title in Japan – Animal Crossing: New Horizons....

Earlier today, publisher Warner Bros. Games launched a new trailer, showcasing more of the game’s visuals and revealing an in-game model of Batman. Well, today in a new Nintendo Direct, we finally got a real look at the Super Mario Movie, and thankfully, it seems rather promising. Mario himself looks a bit odd, but not too far off the mark, and the Mushroom Kingdom has been recreated in impressive detail. As for Chris Pratt’s voice work as Mario, well… he pretty much just sounds like himself, with a bit of a New York accent perhaps (Jack Black’s Bowser is much better)....

Speaking during an investor call hosted by Baird, as reported by GamesIndustry, Tim Stuart said he expected that the supply chain environment could remain rocky through this year and the upcoming holiday season. As a result of the issues, manufacturers have been dealing with limited parts and high prices for logistics which impact margins. The issues, Stuart added, are caused mainly by recent lockdowns in China Supply chain issues started back in 2020 due to the pandemic, and have impacted the launch of the new generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft....

The listing, which has been discovered by Wario64, doesn’t provide any detail on the yet-to-be-announced remake, but the cover art and the promotional image found in it do seem to suggest that it will be indeed a remake of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, as the cover art looks very similar to that of the original game, and the promotional image features characters from the game such as Denam, Catiua, Vyce and the Zenobian Knights....
