ASUS Entering The PCIe NVMe SSD Segment: Teases High-End PCIe Gen 4.0 ROG STRIX SQ7 Drive Almost every major vendor is currently offerings its own PCIe SSD range with both value-oriented and high-end options. On the game’s official website, it has been confirmed that the service will officially end on February 27th, 2023, less than a year after the game launched on PC and PlayStation consoles. From today, the game will also be removed from sale, and premium currency will no longer be purchasable. On November 29th, Season 2 will end, marking the start of the Final Season where players can earn the ranking rewards for Season 2....

The news comes from reliable insider Tom Henderson, who highlighted that playtesting has started and that the game is very much alive. Earlier this month, it has been revealed that this would be external playtesting, so things are definitely looking up for the second entry in the series. The new addition to the database was spotted by ‘PlayStation Game Size’ and posted on Twitter some hours ago. In addition to adding support for Season 1, the new update will also lower the game’s total install size on PlayStation platforms. The remake was announced last month during Square Enix’s 25th Final Fantasy VII anniversary broadcast. Aside from visual enhancements, no further details were shared about the upcoming remake, but the official Final Fantasy VII Twitter account has now provided more details. Some original textures in the game have also been replaced or modified by the modder, but the original art style of the game has been retained. The 4K texture pack weighs in at a whopping 35GB (when unpacked), and users are required to use the ‘DSR Texture Packer and Unpacker in order to use these upscaled textures....

This month, there will be two newly launched games adding both DLSS and RTX. The first is Loopmancer, an action platformer game out next week on PC. According to NVIDIA, DLSS Performance Mode can more than double performance at 4K resolution with ray traced reflections enabled. Then there’s the indie game Hell Pie, scheduled to launch on July 21st, which features ray traced reflections and ambient occlusion. Again, NVIDIA promises over 2x frames with DLSS Performance Mode at 4K resolution....

Dreamsettler is a spiritual successor to previously-released Hypnospace Outlaw, and is being designed by Tendershoot and No More Robots. In essence, Dreamsettler is an early ’00s internet simulator in which you solve cases for an array of strange and endearing characters as a Sleepnet Private Investigator. No More Robots also has also shown a new trailer, which you can watch below. The game takes place in the Sleepnet, where dreams are made in a quite literal sense....
